The Sutton United Supporters’ Society (“The Trust”) is a legally incorporated body and, as such, can hold shares in Sutton United Football Club Ltd. This means that the Trust can represent the views of its members to the club and, in particular, at shareholder meetings.

The Trust and the long-established Sutton United Supporters Club are not in competition and are committed to working together for the good of all supporters and the football club, with each having a focus on their own strengths and priorities.

AIMS

The role of The Trust is to represent its members in communications with the club and to support the club’s wider efforts within the community. The Trust does not provide financial support for the operational matters of the football club.

The specific aims, as agreed at the AGM held 17/4/2024 are:-

1) To continue to hold shares in SUFC Ltd in the name of the Trust
2) To provide a democratic voice for supporters in the running of SUFC, encouraging 2-way dialogue and consultation
3) To support the club’s charitable Foundation in delivering its objectives and to support the Club with relevant CSR objectives.
5) To work with the Club to enhance the matchday experience for all supporters

NEWS and EVENTS

The Trust lay dormant for several years but hopes to build and become more active. As such, we need more members and also more directors. We will seek to arrange events from time to time, to promote the The Trust or as fund-raisers.
